Welcome to Augmented, a service offering live chatting between piano teachers (teachers of Augmented) and piano learners (customers of Augmented). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully.
2. Service Description
Augmented provides a platform where customers can interact with piano teachers through live chat. Customers pay a monthly subscription fee to access these services. Augmented also offers a 14-day trial period, which can be cancelled at any time within the trial duration without any fee.
3. Subscription and Fees
Subscription Fee: Customers are required to pay a monthly subscription fee to access Augmented's live chatting services.
Payment: Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable.
Cancellation: Customers can cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation is effective immediately, and access to services will be terminated at the time of cancellation. No refunds will be provided for partial months.
4. 14-Day Trial Period
Trial Eligibility: New customers are eligible for a 14-day trial period.
Cancellation During Trial: Customers can cancel their trial at any time within the 14-day period without incurring any charges.
Automatic Subscription: If the trial is not cancelled within the 14-day period, the customer will be automatically enrolled in the monthly subscription plan and the subscription fee will be charged.
5. No Refund Policy
Non-Refundable Payments: All payments made to Augmented are non-refundable. This includes subscription fees and any other charges associated with the use of our services.
6. User Conduct
Customers agree to use Augmented’s services in a respectful and lawful manner. Any form of harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior towards piano teachers or other customers is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal Information: Augmented collects and uses personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Data Security: We implement appropriate security measures to protect the confidentiality of customer information. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
8. Intellectual Property
All content provided through Augmented, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Augmented or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Customers are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
Augmented is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any damages arising from or related to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service in the past three months.
10. Changes to the Terms of Service
Augmented reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time. We will notify customers of significant changes through our website or other appropriate means. Continued use of the service after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms of service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uusimaa, Finland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
